I'm a Playmakers Lab Ensemble Member!

I am so proud to be an ensemble member of Playmakers Laboratory! Working with them is some of the most fun I've had in my career, and I love how our work adapting stories written by Chicago kids into skits really stretches my skills. With our lightening quick devising process, I'm improvising big choices, building crazy characters that only kids could imagine (think a hamburger patty, a weight-lifting bunny, and a David Bowie inspired singing jellyfish) alongside some of the most creative and kind artists in Chicago! It's also been so awarding working with them as a teaching artist with Playmakers Lab's creative writing curriculum and fantastic teaching artist teams. Infusing writing with fun and watching the kids light up when we celebrate the stories they write is absolutely magical!
