I am a proud Chicagoland native and EMC Chicago-based actor represented by Lori Lins Ltd with a BS in Acting and English Studies from Illinois State University.

 

I am passionate about the art of storytelling, and my work in storytelling varies widely! In addition to performing in various theatre productions throughout Chicagoland, I love bringing young writers’ creative stories to life as a ensemble member with Playmakers Laboratory where I'm also a teaching artist in their CPS 3rd-5th grade creative writing residency program! I'm also the founder and artistic director of the Chicago Playback Theatre Ensemble where my actors and I perform true audience stories on the spot, which easily range from enacting magical moments of joy to delicately holding someone's darkest story with care, dignity, and nuance.

 

I love imaginative, innovative, and socially rooted productions and projects, as well as TYA and Shakespeare. But really, I'm down for anything challenging, fun or juicy!

When I'm not onstage or in the classroom, you can find me browsing plays with a matcha latte in hand at The Understudy, listening to a culture or history podcast while rollerblading along the lakeshore, or having sushi take-out with my husband while watching Dropout TV with our dog, Rey in our laps.
