Playback Theatre is ALIVE in Chicago!

It's been a busy summer where I've feel very behind on my posting, all because I had a massively amazing and rewarding time assembling these beautiful humans, teaching them the ways of Playback Theatre, and traveling all over this great city with them to celebrate and honor the stories of Chicagoans. By the end of this summer, we will have performed 14 shows that were each wonderfully unique. We've had self-produced shows hosted at Collaboraction where we had themes like "Pride Night" where we doled out resources from Howard Brown, or "Stories on American Identity" where we had a representative from State Matters talk afterwards about how to engage politically in your local community. We also performed family friendly shows at libraries with kids as young as three years old and had an awesome show with 40+ summer camp kids!

This group is incredibly talented and full of heart, and I can't wait to see where this grows!
